Use of Newsletter
Subscribers' E-Mail Address:
marijuana-jokes.com collects e-mail addresses
from it's opt-in/out newsletter.
If you subscribe to our newsletter-you'll
get just that and nothing more. Plus, we're so lazy that we typically
don't send out our newsletters more than once-per-month. At the bottom
of every newsletter is a one-click unsubscribe link, for those who choose
not to get our e-rag anymore. And it really works. Our script will automatically
remove your email address from future newsletters. We also don't give away/sell/loan/trade/barter
or pimp your e-mail address in any way to anyone for any reason. Period.
However, we currently use a third-party "Tell-a-Friend" service (which
helps us pay our bills) found on nearly every page of our site. This service
gathers e-mail addresses and may send you solicited or unsolicited (spam)
mailings. So if you already aren't doing so-just use an account that you
don't mind some random spams going to. I really don't think thery're going
to flood anyone with spam or anything, so don't wig out...just giving you
a heads-up.
Use of Server's Visitor Logs:
We do not disseminate our "Visitor
Logs" (site statistics) to anyone. Our web servers collect the IP addresses,
not the e-mail addresses, of visitors. This information is aggregated to
measure the number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed,
etc. marijuana-jokes.com uses this information to measure the use of our site
and to improve the content and performance of our site. To sum-up, our
site does not collect any unique identifying visitor information whatsoever.
We also do not place Internet cookies on users' hard drives to store users'
personal information. You can visit marijuana-jokes.com on the World Wide Web
without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself.
And just in case you haven't already figured it out-our NARC
STOPPER software is just a bunch of elaborate bullshit and an inside
joke by yours truly. Hope you bit it, but Narc Stopper is just a gag folks.
Really. So is the fake "Cannot Find Shit" IE error page received when clicking
on the "Microskunk" link at the bottom of our pages.

Use of Monthly Drawing Entry Information:
We collect email addresses from
an entry form found on our "Monthly Drawing" page. Just as with our newsletter
subscribers, your e-mail address is kept strictly confidential. Drawing
entry data is used only to randomly select winners for our drawing. When
someone wins our monthly drawing and want to claim their prize, we need
to know where to send it. Therefore, they must then send us their name
and shipping address. This additional information is kept strictly confidential
and is only used to send someone their prize.
Use of Online Poll Data:
Our changing
online poll found on nearly every page of our site does not collect any
personal information. After a visitor votes, the poll stores only their
current IP address in a temporary database in order to help ensure that
visitors do not vote multiple times. This information is discarded every
time the poll is changed.
